Block Party<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year’s Block Party will be hosted by Ada’s Technical Book Store and Metrix Make:Space in Capitol Hill on Friday Night. Please join us at this open event to meet fellow attendee’s and speakers. There will be snacks and refreshments at booth locations.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"ada\"<\/a>Ada\u2019s Technical Books<\/strong> is Seattle\u2019s only technical book store located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. Ada\u2019s specifically carries new, used, & rare books on Computers, Electronics, Physics, Math, and Science as well as hand-picked inspirational and leisure reading, puzzles, brain teasers, and gadgets geared toward the technically minded customer.<\/p>\n

Monthly events, featured author presentations, and book signings will be scheduled throughout the year.<\/p>\n

\"metrix\"<\/a>Metrix Create:Space<\/strong> is a place where you come to make things and work on projects. We provide comfortable work space, tools and help where you need it. \u00a0We have a wide selection of tools, from sewing machines to hammers to oscilloscopes.\u00a0Our stock of inventory is still growing, but we carry most basic electronic components as well as kits and bits you might need for your project. If you don\u2019t see what you\u2019re looking for, always ask, we can either get it for you in a hurry or point you to a nearby source.<\/p>\n

We offer laser cutting and engraving services as well as 3D printing and design help. \u00a0We have a growing schedule of workshops to give you the skills and confidence you need to work on projects of your own.<\/p>\n

The Conference will be held at\u00a0Neumos Crystal Ball Reading Room on Saturday. Drinks will be provided all day and we will have a catered Lunch.<\/p>\n

Neumos Crystal Ball Reading Room<\/strong>, most often referred to as Neumos, is a mid-size music venue in Seattle, Washington. The space was originally opened as Moe\u2019s Mo\u2019Roc\u2019N Caf\u00e9 in 1992 and re-launched in 2003 under its current name (pronounced \u201cnew moe\u2019s\u201d). The Concert Hall side of the business has always been our priority, and the lifeline to all other things that surround it. We pride ourselves on our always relevant and carefully curated music calendar, light production and state of the art sound system. The Concert Hall has 3 full service bars, and a second floor with a nicely seated mezzanine and balcony over looking the showroom. The showroom is draped in lush red theatre curtain, is fitted with an ample size stage, merch area, and superior unobstructed sight lines. We play host to several musical genres, by national and local artists alike including but not excluded to Indie Rock, Hip Hop, Punk Rock, DJ\u2019s , Metal, Singer\/Song Writers, Country and much more.<\/p>\n

Saturday Night Party<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Saturday Night Party is going to be at the Lo-Fi\u00a0Performance\u00a0Gallery again this year. Microsoft will be buying everyone’s drinks all night.<\/p>\n

\"lofi-1\"<\/a>The Lo-Fi Performance Gallery<\/strong>, a Seattle nightclub for live bands, live emcees, open mic, spoken word, art galleries, national and international DJs, house, hip-hop, underground, break beats, electro, experimental, dub,dubstep, reggae, dancehall, punk, brit pop, Jazz\u200e, Funk, Soul , R and B\u200e, jungle!<\/p>\n
